Tips

Here is some advice which we recommend you follow:

  • Select your distance based on your standard/fitness
  • Choose a helmet which fits well
  • Measure your jersey by placing it on a table and compari the sizes (see link jersey size chart)
  • Take note of the start times and the boat timetable
  • Take a spare tube and pump with you
  • Ensure your water bottle is filled and take a cereal bar with you
  • At the end of the hiking, don’t forget to GIVE US BACK THE KEEP-TIMING CHIP after the arrival line (or waiver or no start) to one of our team, or send it us back by post.
    In case we don’t have it, you will be CHARGED of CHF 50.- !

Registration success…

During my registration :

- Measure your jersey by placing it on a table and compare against the size chart.

We recommended picking up your jersey the day before the race at the indicated locations (see below)

For the first time, you can pick up your jersey and your timing chip on any location on Saturday and Sunday morning.
The jerseys and chips that haven’t been picked up on Saturday will be send directly to the start line.
IMPORTANT :  Only the jerseys for the race Evian-Lausanne can be picked up at the Place de la Navigation, Lausanne-Ouchy on Sunday morning between 5.00am and 6:30am. After that time, they will be shipped by boat to Evian les Bains at 7:30am.

Boat

If I live in Switzerland I will travel by boat from Lausanne-Ouchy to get to Evian

Please note that there is only one boat and the number of places is limited to 580

* Put on your cycling clothes before boarding the boat. You will be able to leave your lightweight jacket behind upon departure at Evian 

 

If I live in France I will travel by boat from Lausanne-Ouchy to get back to Evian

Please collect your return crossing voucher from the “Information” stand at the Place de la Navigation (upon arrival).

 

Bus

If I live in Lausanne I will travel by bus from Lausanne-Ouchy, Place de la Navigation, to get to Geneva

* Put on your cycling kit before taking the bus. You will be able to leave your lightweight jacket behind upon departure at Geneva

 

If I live in Geneva I will travel by bus from Lausanne-Ouchy, Place de la Navigation, to get back to Geneva

Please collect your return crossing voucher from the “Information” stand at Place de la Navigation (upon arrival).

 

Deposit of personal belongings Lausanne

If you leave from Lausanne-Ouchy, you may leave your bag at the “Information” stand. 

Please do not leave valuable items in it as we do not accept any liability for theft.

 

Deposit of personal belongings Evian

If you leave from Evian, you may leave your bag at the “Information” stand. Your things will be taken to the “Information” stand at Lausanne-Ouchy.

Please do not leave valuable items in it as we do not accept any liability for theft.

 

Deposit of personal belongings Geneva

If you leave  from Geneva, you may leave your bag at the “Information” stand. Your things will be taken to the “Information” stand at Lausanne-Ouchy.

Please do not leave valuable items in it as we do not accept any liability for theft.
